Résumé

This report is the first integrated result of the COST Action 626, European Aquatic Modelling Network. The report summaris state-of-the-art in data sampling, modelling, analysis and applications of river habitat modelling within the network. All 95 participants of COST Action 626 have contributed to this report, orally in discussions and written by submitting, editing or commenting on parts of this report. This report represents the data and meanings of the action participants and not their employing institutions. However, all their employers have supported their participation in the COST Action. A wide range of nationally-funded projects have provided time and resources to fulfil this report, while COST has provided printing and of course the important networking facilities that made it all possible. We are all thankful to the large numbers of national funders and to COST.
Ce rapport final a été présenté lors du congrès : COST Action 626 - European aquatic network management committee and working group meetings tenu à Aix-en-Provence du 29 au 31 octobre 2003.
