which constitute the scientific collaboration between two or more countries, here France (FRA) and the United Kingdom (GBR), and this from a bibliographie data base. Here we use an extract "France-World-1984" from the data base Computer Horizon Inc., which is a treatment of Science Citation Index. This data base gives the co-authors and their affiliated laboratories. We have developed a methodology of documentary analysis which leads to the cooperation as we describe it in the international data bases of the CNRS, BADIN and MEV : around a common collaborative project, which belongs to a defined scientific field, the authors (collaborating researchers), their laboratories (collaborating laboratories) from France and other countries (GBR), have produced (n) publications. The motivation of this study is mainly the necessity to link the concept of international scientific cooperation to ail the international scientific activities involved, particularly the mobility of the scientists
Il s'agit d'une tentative de description et d'identification des éléments constitutifs des coopérations scientifiques bi-et multilatérales entre la France (FRA) et la Grande Bretagne (GBR) à partir d'une base bibliographique. C'est ici un extrait "France-Monde" de la base Computer Horizon Inc., traitement de Science Citation Index, pour l'année 1984. Cette base donne en effet les laboratoires auxquels sont affiliés les co-auteurs des publications. Nous avons développé une méthodologie d'analyse documentaire qui aboutit à la détermination de la structure de la coopération, telle que nous la définissons au CNRS dans les bases BADIN et MEV : autour d'un thème de recherche commun, d'un domaine scientifique donné, les auteur (chercheurs coopérants) et leur formation (laboratoires coopérants) française(s) et étrangère(s) ici GBR, ont produit (n) publications. Ce travail part de la nécessité de lier le concept de coopération scientifique internationale avec toutes les activités scientifiques internationales qu'il comporte et en particulier la mobilité des chercheurs
