This document is a summary of my Ph.D. Thesis. I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Roberto Hirata Jr. at the eScience laboratory, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Further, I did an one-year internship at LITIS laboratory, INSA-Rouen, University of Normandy, France, under advise of Prof. Dr. Stephane Canu. My thesis work was financed by the funding agencies: CAPES, CNPq, FAPESP grant 2011/50761-2, NAP eScience-PRP-USP from Brazil, and LITIS laboratory from France.
