Laboratoire d'économie forestière (LEF)
The Laboratoire d'Economie Forestière (LEF, Laboratory of Forest economics) was created in 2000 as a Joint research unit of the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Science (AgroParisTech) and the National Institute of Agronomic research (INRA). Before it was l’Unité d’Économie et Politique Agricole et Forestière (EPAF, Agriculture and forest policy and economic). The mission of the LEF is to conceive, develop, and transfer methods and tools of economic analysis to improve the management of the goods, services and products of forests and of the forestry sector.
